Q: What is the Cutoff day/time for getting my Survivor Pool pick in each week?
A:
This is a configuration setting for your Pool. Check your League Settings to see if it occurs at the start of the first game or on a designated day/time of the week.

Q: I would like the members of my Pool to be able to register multiple teams. How can I do this?
A:
The Commissioner has the option when configuring the League Settings to allow multiple entries per pool per team by selecting the checkbox called " Allow the same MFS User to register multiple teams". This will allow the pool member to join the pool  multiple times using the Join Existing Pool button with the Pool ID and Password. They will simply need to register each time with a unique name to your Pool.

Q: How can I delete a Pool I started?
A:
The Commissioner will need to email your League Name and League ID to MFS at info@maximumfantasysports.com and we'll delete the Pool and all related information.

Q: What happens if the NFL game ends in a Tie?
A:
For Survivor Pools, Ties are considered losses. To Survive and continue, you must pick a team that wins outright (or loses if you are picking Losers).

Q: How does the Rebirth cut-off week work?
A:
If your league is set up to allow Rebirths, the cut-off week is the last completed week of the NFL that teams can be allowed to be rebirthed back into the pool to continue to compete. So, if your Pool allows one Rebirth and the cutoff week is Week 4, then your team can lose a game in any week between week 1 and week 3 and the Commissioner will be able to Rebirth your team back into the Pool before the pool picks close for Week 4 (this usually involves paying a fee. Check your league settings or ask your Commissioner). If your first loss occurs during or after Week 4, then you are out of the Pool. Sorry!

Q: Our league is set up so you can only use a team once. If I use a team as my Survivor pick and it loses, can I use them again in a later week (if I get Rebirthed, that is)?
A:
Win or lose, it doesn't matter. You can only use a team the maximum number of times allowed by your Pool, even if your earlier usage of the team resulted in a loss.

Q: I have some players who want to play in our Pool but do not have computer access. How do I register their picks?
A:
All pool members must have a validated MFS User ID. So, you’ll have to create an MFS User ID for the team with a generic email address. You can use the participant’s name or your pool name or something along those lines. When done, send us the ID and we’ll flip the verification flag on for you. From there, you’ll have to join your pool logged in as that ID. After that, you will be able to manage their picks from your ID using the Edit Previous Picks function from your home page instead of having to log in as that “dummy” team.

Q: My Survivor Pool is not using the Point Spread but it shows up on my picks. Why?
A:
Point spreads are displayed as an aid to help you make your Survivor Pick. It is provided to show you how much of a favorite one team is over the other. Survivor Pools do not use the point spread for anything other than information.

Q: I would like to see if the members of my Pool have submitted their picks. How can I do this if I cannot see their Team Home Page?
A:
On the League Home Page for your Pool, there is a "Pick Status Report" link. When clicked, this report shows which Pool members have submitted their picks for the week and how many Autopicks they have left for the season.

Q: I have some teams who lost on Sunday and would like to get a Rebirth for the Monday Night Football game. However, your site won't allow me to Rebirth for the current week. What can I do?
A:
Our Survivor Pools only allow for one pick per team per week.  However, if you want to accomplish multiple picks, you could simply change the picks for the teams you want to allow to circumvent these rules by using the Edit Previous Picks function on your League Home Page to change their current pick for the MNF game.  The reporting and Finances won’t be accurate as we’ll only count tonight’s game, but it should work for you and you can handle the Finances separately (and update them manually using the Finances link also found on the League Home Page).

Q: We had 3 teams left last week and 2 lost so we have a winner. I want to play out a second place finish but the remaining teams have no rebirths left. How can I do this?
A:
Our Survivor Pools award first place when there is one team left standing. You could manually track the remaining places. Teams that are out can still make picks for the rest of the regular season. However, if the winner doesn't mind, you could change the number of Rebirths and rebirth the two losing teams and let them continue to compete. Unfortunately, the winner will no longer be marked as Champion since the pool will continue its competition.

Q: We have teams still alive in our pool and we are extending into the playoffs to determine a winner. Does the list of teams already picked get reset for the playoffs?
A:
Yes. we track the number of times a team is picked in the regular season separately from the playoffs. Also, your pool is configured with separate Maximums for the number of teams can be picked in the regular season versus the playoffs.

Q: I had three teams that couldn't get registered before the pool closed but contacted me before the deadline. Can I still add them?
A:
Yes. Just edit the configuration options and change the registration date to a future time to allow them to join. If they join after the games have started, you may enter picks for them using the Edit Previous Picks Commissioner Tool.

Q: In my Survivor Pool, if I configure the Pick Lock Time for Sunday at noon every week, what happens on weeks there are Thursday night games? Do the Thursday night games lock at the start of the game to keep people from selecting them after the game starts or is it open until Sunday at noon?
A:
If any games start prior to the Pick Lock Time, those selections will lock as soon as we receive notification that the game has started. When the Pick Lock Time occurs, all unlocked games are locked at that point in time.

Q: The season has started and I have some deadbeat members who have not paid yet. Can you send MFS Moose and Rocco over to collect from them or at least delete them from my pool?
A:
Though we are not fond of deadbeat owners, we cannot enforce collection of your league fee. You can delete the pool members from your pool using the Team and Coach List link on your Pool Home Page. To the right of the team and coach name, there is a Delete link.

Q: Our pick lock time is Sunday at noon. There is a Thursday night game this week. I’m not picking a team playing Thursday, so can I wait until Saturday to make my pick or do I have to have a pick made by game time Thursday?
A:
You can wait until Saturday, or even Sunday at 11:59, to make your picks, but the Autopick process will run when the first game of the week starts for those players who have Autopicks left and have not made a pick for the week. This is done in case the proper game to autopick, based on the teams’ autopick setting, is Thursday’s game. If the autopick does not choose Thursday‘s game, it still counts as an autopick and the available number of autopicks is decreased by 1. The Saturday or Sunday game that the autopick process selected does not lock until the game starts or the pick deadline has passed, so you can still change the pick up until the pick deadline or start of the game if prior to the pick deadline.

Q: At what point is everyone’s pick available to everyone in the pool?
A:
Everyone’s pick is displayed in the reports, Team Home Page and standings once the Pick Lock date/time has passed.

Q: How do I change my Team name after I have registered?
A:
You can change your Team name at any point in the season from the Team Home Page using the Edit Team Details link.

Q: I don’t see any way to enter Monday Night Football scores to be used for our weekly tie-breaker.
A:
You have chosen the tie-breaker option of “No tie-breaker” as your number 1 priority on your League Settings. When this option is the number 1 priority, we suppress the entry fields on the Team Home Page. To change, move a separate tie-breaker option to number 1.

Q: I am ready to create a new pool for this coming football season. How do I get the email addresses for players who played last season?
A:
When you start your pool registration using the Create Pool process, you have the option to copy last year's pool in the first step. In the last step, all of last year's emails will be listed.

Q: On my Team Home page, I see games listed twice under the matchup column. Why is that?
A:
Games on the Team Home Page are listed twice under the Matchup column since each team is listed individually under the Pick column. The team in the Pick column is the team you are choosing for the week. The matchup is just a reminder of who they are playing. The Home team will be listed “vs.” the Road team and the Road Team will be listed “at” the Home Team. For example, when Cincinnati plays in Chicago, we will list each team individually in the Pick column with the selection radiobutton to the left of the choice you can make. The teams in the Pick column are listed in alphabetical order.
